Do you have regular meetings anywhere? I am a member of the San Fernando Valley Project Linus living in S.C. and am curious. I have donated ~250 blankets to date in about 4 years. My mother is also a member and has also made a few baby blankets (~20).

      Hi Jeanne,

Sorry for the late reply. As of right now, we do not have regular chapter meetings. We are hoping to do a district-wide blanket workshop soon, but it will take a while to organize. We’re hoping to have one either late this year or early next year. However, if you contact our club supervisor Mrs. Sharon Garvar at sgarvar@gmail.com, you can find out more information about meeting up with us. Also, we have an official faceBook page at “Project Linus – Santa Clarita Valley/Sylmar, Los Angeles County, CA chapter” which we update with events and ways to contribute.

      Hope this helped! 🙂

Hello, I am interested in joining your chapter in Santa Clarita. My family has been a recent recipient of one of your NICU quilts from Arcadia Methodist Hospital in Arcadia, California. What a wonderful blessing! Thank you. May I follow your quilt guidelines and just drop them off ? Please advise. Thank you so much!

      Hello Dee, and Welcome!
We are very delighted to hear that your family has been a recipient of our blankets, and are even more excited to hear that you want to join us! Your donations are most certainly welcome. After following the guidelines on this website, you may drop them off at one of our nearest drop off locations spread out throughout Santa Clarita, Antelope Valley, and Palmdale. Thank for your question, and Happy Blanketing!

Thank you for what you did for Saugus. Many students are being comforted by your donated blankets.

We are so happy to hear that our blanket gifts are bringing everyone comfort. SCV Project Linus is here to continually offer love, comfort, and support to the children in our community year round. We love you Saugus and SCV students! We are all #SaugusStrong.

Hi, I live in Pasadena and have several Afghans that I would like to donate to Project Linus. I have not been able to find a drop off location near me. Are you currently accepting blankets? If so what is the most convenient location to drop them off on a Tuesday or Thursday?
    Thank you

Hi I see that you accept minky blankets. I am CozySoft blankets and burp cloths on Etsy. They are backed with 100% cotton. Is this something you accept? The minimum size is 36 x 36? They are completely sewn around all edges. Thank you! I would love to donate for babies.

      Hi Janis!

We can accept your donation as we do take sewn minky with cotton. Our drop off location is Joann’s, thank you so much for your contribution!
